Today I got a souvenir from the head of the press club in Queens College: old school newspaper dated 1998. And I fell in love with one article, precisely defining all the tiny QC details. Hereby I provide some extracts, the very best of it.
"...Also, why do QC girls spend their time shadowing people's shoes. I find it very disconcerting, the way QC girls appraise each other from head to toe, instead of the other way round. In QC, your shoes seem to be the criteria for judjing the size of your father's bank account. I know I am naive in thinking that QC is exemped from the dirty, mercenary behaviourof the outside world. I always saw QC as a sort of utopia. The priority QC girls give material wealth totally defeat the purpose of educating us to become responsible and sensible women in the future.
Perhaps, it is the QC way, but can someone explain to me how it is possible for someone to be allergic to so many things. Until I came to QC, I wasn't aware of it that a human being could actually be allergic to toilet water. QC girls are allergic to sweeping, weeding, washing toilet, running round the field,in fact any corporal punishment you can think of, at least one QC girl is allergic to it. It seems to me that in QC we are breeding a totally new species of the genus Hominidae".
