Isn't it amazing that some people don't do facebook, don't read blogs, don't check e-mails.
That's why our game is still happening: we can still talk about them. Or about monolingual fellows, that don't know how to use google translation services.
Happy to know many of them to bring fresh stuff to the online community, which is a lot just about forwarding, reposting and not actually saying anything new.

All this bullshit made me...
I got to Moscow on Monday.
Everyone who lived more than in 3 countries for a long while knows this bloody feeling of not belonging to any of the places on the planet. So that was it.
And despite the fact that it was one of my best comebacks (i.e. one way ticket bought 24h before the flight, weeping at customs) I still need to get back to Lagos, because nothing much keeps me in Moscow - and I still want to learn surfing. :)
I changed my desktop pic to a new one. This is it.

Who's afraid of short skirts
Honestly, the killing point was when I went to a guys boarding school wearing my new short skirt. Not to mention, I always get too many of these looks in Nigeria, but this was maybe too much.
The Principal started our meeting with: "Maria, we're not in Cuba, щver there the weather allows..oooh...all the skimpy dresses...".
The next day I had a meeting with this Principal's sister. She went even further: as I entered the room, she introduced me to her tailor: "Maria, she's going to take your measurments, we'll send the clothes to your office, and next time, please, don't show up in this skirt". And then turned to the tailor: "Darling, I want a long kaftan, long trousers, short trousers and a dress for her official outings. Yes, bright. Yes, african colours."
So looks like I'm getting the whole wardrobe. So strategically the short skirt was a very correct idea. :)
